Build this with us.
We are always looking for individuals, companies and schools willing to build this with us. It does not have to be money. Often it is a room, an afternoon, or an invitation to come and speak.
Who we have worked with
The American Institute in Taiwan, EducationUSA, TRÈS BON café, and Taipei First Girls' High School.
Each of them helped in a different way: a venue, an introduction to the right people, a door into a school. What five years added up to is on another page.
Ways to work with us
- A venueCollege Bootcamp runs for two days and needs a room that seats a few dozen teenagers.
- SpeakingIf you have walked this path, come and spend an afternoon. To the students in the room you are a real example, which beats any slide deck.
- Your schoolBring Beyond Taiwan into your school so students can ask their questions on campus.
- SponsorshipSupport us so the programmes keep running.
Where sponsorship goes
Three things: day to day operations, the summer College Bootcamp, and the mentorship programme.
Students pay nothing, and that is deliberate. We work on an information gap, and putting information behind a paywall would recreate the very problem we set out to solve. So whether these programmes keep running depends on people willing to support them.
How to start
Write to beyondtaiwan2020@gmail.com and tell us who you are and how you would like to be involved. It does not need to be formal.
We are a student organisation and everyone is in school, so a reply may take a while, but we read all of them.
